We often take light for granted, but without it, our nights would be long, dull, and inactive. However, we’ve forgotten that light is a resource we need to pay for, and we often misuse it. What if a lamp could help us become aware of the value of light, energy, and money? That’s where DINA comes in. This innovative lamp requires coins to activate, with each coin providing the power to make it shine. DINA is more than just a lamp; it’s a tool for illuminating our consciousness.
DINA is designed to work with large and medium-sized coins, typically representing the highest denominations in most currencies. This design ensures that only valuable coins can activate the lamp, encouraging us to think about the cost of the light we use. Small coins don’t make the necessary contact to turn on the light, reinforcing the idea that not all coins are equal.
The DINA lamp measures 27 x 23 x 12 cm and is made from durable ABS/PP and wood materials. It features a USB-C input port and a power input of DC 5V/1A. The lamp has a light output of 250lm and a warm white color temperature of 3500K, with a CRI of ≥60. It also has a built-in Li-polymer battery for added convenience.
The lamp’s coin slot is compatible with coins of various sizes, with a diameter of 13-30mm and a thickness of 5mm. This versatility allows users to use a range of coins, making it easier to activate the lamp. The package includes a USB cable (Type A to Type C) for charging the lamp.
